Apex Battleground Analysis: Tag Team Championship Match. Stole the show. Simple as that, Usos and Wyatts always put on a great match. Even though the first 2 falls were pretty quick and cheap thats become the norm in 2/3 falls matches, the 3rd fall was amazing. Best Tag match of the year so far. I predicted a Wyatt win but still loving the Usos as Champions. Bray Wyatt v Chris Jericho Another good match. Couldve been so much more though.. the sudden finish might have upset a few people but it makes sure that this feud will continue into Summerslam. Predicted Bray to win but Jericho is my favourite of all time so secretly hoped hed win. Ambrose v Rollins Both have minor injuries so they way that was worked makes sense, also it was entertaining as hell. Seth got a bit caught up in the moment and forgot it was a PG show but alas it seemed to have gone undetected. The fact WWE didnt wanna risk any further injury shows how deeply they are invested into these 2 and keeps everyone looking forward to an actual match most likely at Summerslam. Intercontinental Championship Great battle royal, one of the better ones in recent years. Had Bo Dallas or Dolph Ziggler to win.. so imagine my absolute fury when I forgot that Miz hadnt been eliminated. Hopefully Ziggler doesnt have to job to Miz any time soon but I can see this reign being rather lengthy. Rusev v Swagger Filler.. all this was. I was actually looking forward to it but I hated the ending. Any count out win at a PPV automatically makes the match blow. If youre gonna push Swagger then push him. If youre gonna build Rusev then build him. Did nothing for anyone involved except get them a little out of breath. Had Rusev to win but not like that. Divas Championship Had Paige to win after turning heel but I enjoyed the match enough to not fret about the outcome. Still expecting a Paige heel turn in the coming weeks to lead a proper feud between the 2 going into the 2nd biggest PPV of the year. This match showed what the 2 can do together, hopefully taking out the frenemy bollocks will set this feud up to its full potential. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Basic as hell.. besides a good 5 minute flurry from Roman Reigns dropkicking everyone in the arena and facing Cena in a Who can pin Kane Match, this was as basic a Fatal 4 Way match I have ever seen. Everyone knew Cena was going to win and most people (including me) predicted he would pin Kane. What annoyed me about this match most was the finish. Minus a ladder it was almost identical to the way MITB ended. Spoiler: Cena wins lol. Hopefully WWE noticed how quiet the crowd went after he won.. could almost hear a pin drop. Not an ounce of excitement to be found in anyone that have descended testicles. All in all.. it was a good PPV. Had the potential to be so much better though and because of that I was pretty disappointed.. #Apex
