Apostle George created a doc. 10 hrs 3 Priesthood types - 1.2 Lesson #.2: Digging Deeper into the Nimrod Priesthood In view of the depth of what Yahweh, our heavenly Father revealed about the Nimrod priesthood in lesson 1, it is needful to stay at His feet further to inquire why this kind of ‘priesthood’ is sustained till this day, after first manifesting thousands of years ago. Why has this priesthood type been sustained till today? Let us examine 6 interrelated reasons. 1. Spirits do not die! Spirits are beings that live forever. When time is no more, evil spirits will be tormented in the Lake of Fire with Satan eternally. Since they do not have bodies, they often need those of yielded humans or animals to execute their assignments in the earth realm. Once a spirit/demon is manifested in a human, it announces the nature of a satanic oppression or strategy to resist the ordinance of The Most High. As we saw yesterday, not too long after the flood, this spirit manifested in Nimrod the son of Cush. It was a spirit of rebellion that fundamentally worked against the explicit mandate of Elohim for humans to multiply and fill up the earth space (Genesis 1:26-28). Nimrod went on to fully yield all of his being to Satan and the principality assigned to possess him. He thus became the father of a major part of the occult and is a celebrated father-figure in most of the fraternities whose roots are in ancient Babylon. In the early post-flood days, that rebellion inspired through Nimrod was to peak with the quest to build a Tower which would reach out to heaven to challenge Elohim, so to say, on His own turf! Through the ages, the same spirit has always manifested in and through yielded vessels. In the present era, it is expressed in those who want to preach the gospel but do not first take time to understand and deal with the four critical adversaries: Self Life; the world, denominationalism and Satan. So while their desires to preach are good, their mindset and attitude to Yeshua are contrary. They become known by their fruits which do not reflect Kingdom purpose and pattern. Matthew 7:17-20 2. Human ambition, arising from flesh will always corrupt the pure gospel The natural human with an active self life is a candidate for the Cross to do an inward work. When that inward work is not first done and that person is not processed by King Yeshua through Holy Spirit and the Word, the natural proclivities of the Soul (Mind, Will and Emotion) will create fertile ground for human ambitions which are impure to trump the pure vision imbibed in the Great Commission. Though ‘vision’ and ‘ambition’ sound alike, they are worlds apart! Vision is from above while ambition is of the earth. Let us say that the vision of Yeshua, Jesus is to use a particular saint to take the gospel to 36 nations. This may require a life of denial of self implied in willingness to be on the move, clutching at nothing including houses, cars or choice jobs. In the economy of heaven that vessel may be required to give up the privilege of marriage like Paul and be celibate. Human ambitions may cause this vessel to run away like Jonah. He or she may then proceed to build on an entirely opposite paradigm. This may manifest in taking on the role of Pastor, rather than say an Apostle or Evangelist to which he or she was called. In this new humanistic setting, the individual concerned starts to dream of building the largest congregation and cathedral in his/her city or State or even nation. To humans, this fellow is very successful and thus well celebrated. But heaven has another view. And as we know, nothing done by flesh or carnality can please Yahweh! Romans 8:5-9 (KJV) 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. When human ambition is activated, people do gospel work for fame, to be known of humans or for wealth and human glory! 3. It is easier to do what we want as humans than to yield our vessels to be used by Yeshua! Saints, let us also admit an obvious truth: humans tend to feel better when they do what they want rather than submit to either another authority or even to Yeshua the King! So people end up doing what they want, far outside His will and purpose hoping that somehow, heaven will celebrate the ‘great things’ they accomplished! The process of dying to self and rejecting the world and its attractions and totally surrendering of our beings for the King to use to accomplish His determinate counsel through Holy Spirit is one that many who are saved struggle with. Being a patient King, Yeshua, Jesus uses various vessels and circumstances to speak His express will that surrender is the First Order of Business for those who want to serve. Matthew 16:24-26 (KJV) 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? To minister out of a vessel that is not surrendered completely to the King is to leave space for the enemy to creep in and possibly manifest Nimrod priesthood. 4. Humans tend to feel better when they control lives of others This is the reality of life on earth. Ironically, this is the opposite of the dominion mandate! A careful look at Genesis 1:26-28 shows that there is no where Elohim granted humans the right to exercise dominion over other humans! This applies to all relationships – whether among spouses or between parents and children or fellow humans. The will of humans is sacrosanct and should be controlled only by their Creator! In the gospel programme, submission to authority expressed in Romans 13:1-8 and Hebrews 13:17 does not imply taking over the will of other people but rather a glorious privilege to lead them to discover, embrace and walk in His will for their lives. In all cases, submission is simply the yeildedness of a saint to the authority of a leader who in turn is ultimately subject to the Supreme will of Yahweh. Once this chain is broken by the higher authority that refuses to be subject to the Divine will, principle and pattern, he/she becomes a controller of lives of others. Control requires the subduing of the will of another in such a way that it no longer has Yahweh as his/her ultimate reference point but the individual leader or denomination that is exercising rule. In terms of the gospel it means a dangerous situation where leaders do not give those they lead the space to hear from the Most High on issues concerning their personal worship or service to Him. Such saints begin to look up to their leaders to hear for them and basically make decisions for them. This sustains a culture where leaders can basically ‘trade’ in the souls of those they lead. In contemporary times, this manifests in leaders of congregations driving saints into ponzi schemes packaged as multi-level marketing projects in which only those at the top make profit! It also involves violating wills of saints in various ways to please their leaders including immoral relationships. This part of Babylon will manifest in greater detail in the Last Days when there will be much spiritual trafficking in the souls of those who are ‘members’ of churches. Here is a picture of what Babylon trades in, including human souls: Revelation 18:9-13 (KJV)11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more: 12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble, 13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. 5. Satan is not done with opposing Yeshua. He has simply transferred his skills against the Church targeting leaders. There will be many Leaders who have backslidden or are apostate in the Last Days At birth, Satan wanted to use Herod to kill the infant Yeshua, Jesus. He also opposed him all through and even tempted Him directly. He inspired the Crucifixion, not knowing it would lead to liberation of mankind. When Yeshua arose, Satan caused religious leaders to bribe the Roman soldiers to claim His Body was taken away by the disciples. The idea was to discredit the resurrection as a corner stone of the Faith. In these Last Days when it has been clearly prophesied that many will depart from the true faith, Satan will target first prominent leaders. His pattern in this regard has always been ‘smite the shepherd and the sheep will scatter’. So as we read what Paul told Timothy and the Thessalonians regarding the falling away, it should be obvious that many preachers in the end times will be operating out of hearts that are no longer connected with Heaven. The spirit which ruled Nimrod will find in such hearts, fertile grounds to lead people away from the truth! Hebrews 6:4-8 (KJV) 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. 7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned. Hebrews 10:26-29 (KJV)26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? Yeshua our King did not say saints should know preachers by their miracle working power but by their lifestyles and pattern of doing Kingdom business. It is not difficult to discern when Holy Spirit is at work and when Flesh is at work. The preacher doing mighty signs and wonders at a revival side by side with active immorality is operating out of the flesh and may be apostate! 6. Some Nimrod type leaders are tares planted in the visible Church to give multitudes a pseudo-gospel that is not real. At the end both the leaders and the flock miss it altogether into the Kingdom because they did not build on solid ground of Truth nor worshipped in Spirit but by the flesh! Matthew 13:24-30 (KJV) 24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. 27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? 28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn (KJV)36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. When you see and hear leaders who encourage those they lead to live like the world; excuse tendencies to sin; despise holiness, covet for all that this world has to offer,’ lie about miracles, signs and wonders’ they did and use their star power to present themselves as models to follow, rather than Yeshua Ha Mashiach, you may well have encountered a tare operating in the spirit of Nimrod. As we also saw in the previous lesson, the present day expression of that spirit is to reverse engineer the gospel program! That is why it does not empower saints to know their King and be strong in Him! By encouraging a culture of multitudes sitting satisfied in pews while the work of ministry is done by a tiny professional priestly clergy or staff, it is clear that it is a priesthood type that cannot serve the purpose of the Kingdom! We need to reject it fundamentally so that we can be found worthy to be part of the Royal priesthood.
