Apprentice General Assistant Melmerby Stores & Tearoom are recruiting an eager apprentice to assist in the running of a small tearoom. The apprentice will: •Prepare fresh light snacks and drinks •Clean the tearoom •Order stock •Cash control duties •Opening and closing procedures •Customer services •Serving in the shop •Stock rotation •Cooking of fresh produce to sell in shop. Working Week 30 hours Weekly Wage £ 105.00 Training to be Provided Expected Duration 12-18 months Skills Required This role requires that the apprentice is: •well organised •works well as part of a team •gives great customer services •works well in a demanding environment Qualifications Required Maths & English C or above (GCSE or equivalent) Possible further progression This position is in Melmerby, Cumbria with little to no bus or train routes.
