Approximately 17-18 years earlier, a bunch of school friends from the same school, and one from a different one, started a journey to pursue their love for music.They formed band which ironically was called Dead End, Their hearts were filled with joy when they played, to their little understanding, the first GnR and Neil Young Covers. One of them wrote an original, titled Compassion on the Street. They had good times and great times. Many many years later, they are still pursuing their dream, to be true musicians. Although the band Dead End, met the names fate, we didnt-the first bunch of homies- Says Mainak Bumpy Nag Chowdhury. TL Mazumdar - then and now a brilliant singer song writer, arranger, composer and keyboardist. Dwaipayan Saha - then a brilliant singer and percussionist, now theres the addition of him being a superb composer. Bobo- then and now a brilliant guitar player and Mainak Bumpy Nag Chowdhury - a humble Bass player, Composer, Arranger. Today is a special day, as i will return to the studio with my homie Doi, to share production ideas and play bass for his debut Solo album which will be released soon from Rooh Media Pvt. Ltd. under the Rooh Music International section. His songs are perhaps the the few amongst vernacular contemporary music, that i have encountered in a long time.
