Are You Blessed? Are You the Head or are you the foot? I hope you - TopicsExpress

Are You Blessed? Are You the Head or are you the foot? I hope you didnt stumble in trying to find an answer to that question. Genesis 12:2-4 Complete Jewish Bible (CJB) I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” The Bible teaches us that we are blessed not just so that we can feel good, not just so we can be happy and comfortable, but so that we will bless others. YHWH told Abraham in Genesis 12:2, “I will bless you ... and you will be a blessing”. This is the first law of blessing. It must flow outwardly. If you belong to YHWH through Yeshua, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs so the above scripture belongs to You as well as the Children of Israel. How do you bless others? By serving a need, whether it is physical or emotional support, financial help, or practical advice or even a small act of kindness. Just do something for someone ... It does not matter if they are a Believer or Not. Blessing someone who is in need can be a good witness for Abba Father and His son Yeshua. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand (Philippians 1:4). YHWH promises that if we will concentrate on blessing others, he’ll take care of our needs. There’s almost nothing that YHWH won’t do for the person who really wants to help other people. In fact, He guarantees this blessing. In Luke 18, Yeshua says, “I guarantee this. Anyone who gives up anything for the kingdom of God will certainly receive many times more in this life and will receive eternal life in the next world to come.” Rabbi Shaul (Paul) points out in 1 Corinthians 12: YHWH gives different roles to different people. Not everyone has the same role. Just as in the human body, the foot is not the head and the eye is not the mouth, so too in the people of God, not everyone is the same. Not everyone is a teacher. Not everyone is Jewish. Not everyone is qualified to be a priest. But every part of the body is important and we can all help those in need in some way. Do Not hoard up for tomorrow. YHWH will take care of that.
