Are the lyrics to All About That Bass a leeeetle bit problematic? Probably. Has that stopped me from playing it on repeat for the past few weeks? Nope. (With some nuanced conversations with my daughters about how 1) you can appreciate your body type no matter what boys may like and 2) maybe we can dig our own bodies without being negative about the body types of other girls). ANYWAY. As the mama of a budding bassist, I am out of my mind with delight over this cover! SQUEEEEEEEEE!
