In terms of comfort, heres what usually works when I get this query from clients: I get them to feel the diffetence... Hold baby upright in arms, back and bum supported, legs hanging down. Feel into it. Keep baby there and move knees up, supporting back and bum wider. Feel into it. Then let legs drop again and feel the difference. I use a demo doll at meets, demos and consults when those queries come up and people tend to notice the difference at the very latest when they drop the legs again ...
