Arrested Persons in Recodo ISO Formally Charged Zamboanga City - This pertains to the conduct of internal security operation in Barangay Recodo on September 25, 2014 at about 9:00 AM, wherein several personalities here arrested and taken to ZCPO for investigation. Confiscated in the area were several sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia, camouflage uniforms, assorted IDs, ammunitions, dismantled motorcycle, pedicabs and a replica of M-4 rifle. The sachet of suspected shabu seized from Rasul Hajad y Reyes that was forwarded to RCLO9, yielded a positive result when tested for presence of methamphetamine hydrochloride having a total weight of 0.0253 grams. On September 27, 2014 a case for violation of Section 11, Article II of RA 9165 was forwarded to the City Prosecutors Office against him, docketed under IS No. INQ-14I-00581. Likewise, separate inquest cases were forwarded to the prosecutor’s office against the other suspects as stipulated hereunder, to wit: violation of RA 9165 (constructive possession) docketed under IS No. INQ-14I-00582 against Arnold Coronel y Limba, Roderick Tista y Patigayon, Janus Rey Intong y Jabla, Diane Motong y Boeles, Reynan Rodriguez y Climaco, and Jay Abdula y Pecaocob; Violation of RA 9165 docketed under IS No.INQ-14I-00583 against Ariel Osinsao y Velasco and Renante Honor y Enriquez; Inquest case for Usurpation of Authority against Lukman Lao y Abuhari, docketed under IS No. INQ-14I-00584. All suspects have requested for preliminary investigation and signed a fifteen-day waiver pursuant to the provision of Article 125 of the Revised Penal Code duly assisted by their counsel Atty. Karina Angela E. Fernandez from the Public Attorney’s Office.
