Arrests in Recent Burglaries PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI – July 9, 2014 – During the month of July, Everett D. Robinson (19), Marquis X. Jones (21), and Rayshaun L. Jones (20), all of North Chicago, Illinois, were arrested and are currently being held in Illinois in relation to recent burglaries that occurred in both Pleasant Prairie and Illinois. Within the last several months, three separate Pleasant Prairie subdivisions had been targeted for overnight home invasions. During the course of the investigations, Pleasant Prairie Police worked cooperatively with several Lake County, Illinois law enforcement agencies to share information on similar incidents and suspects in those jurisdictions. The arrests relate to eleven burglaries that took place in Pleasant Prairie on May 2, June 19, and June 22 of this year. Over the course of the investigations, extra patrols were dedicated to Pleasant Prairie neighborhoods. The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Pleasant Prairie Police Department in providing the extra patrols. Pleasant Prairie Police would like to encourage residents to continue to take a proactive approach to home security, such as keeping doors, windows and vehicles secured and using outside security lighting.
