Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I want to take you to Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama Key Largo, Montego, baby why dont we go Ooh I want to take you down to KOKOMO, well get there fast and then well take it slow Thats where we want to go, way down in Kokomo. Sadly, Kokomo Beach is not a real place (although there IS a town called Kokomo in Indiana), and certainly not off the Florida Keys like in the song. However, I did find a vague reference to a surfers legand that says Kokomo can be any tropical beach where one can enjoy the love vibrations and peace of being on a tropical beach. Magic, Myth or Fact...Kokomo exists in the hearts and minds of all! Naturally, Kokomo Beach certainly doesnt exist for real in Acworth, Georgia except in a truly tropical scent available in Coconut Milk soap made by us at Mystic Owl Arts.
