As I came back from the battle field My Krampus was so badly damaged that parts were failing on every move of the mech. It was a long way back home. My homing beacon was destroyed in battle. I tried to boost the crystals but they were so fractured that on my last try the final crystal shattered and I was stranded. For days I stayed with my mecha, but on a mostly baron off world planet that I have never been to before left me with no other choice. I tried looking for anything to substitute the crystals. These strange purple rocks powered up my baby. They were unstable. I gave the panel a good kick and yesssss I had power. These things may have saved my life from the exotic creatures that I have seen watching me from a distance like I was a rare delicacy. Okay lets do a system check ....... DAMMIT those rocks drained down to low capacity too fast, but not before I got a shot off to let those creatures know that they need to look elsewhere to fill their guts. Tired and out of rations. I was desperate. Nothing to eat. The fluids on this planet made your joints hurt like it was some kind of bacteria infected toxins. The mechs filters were off line. The main power core was leaking down from a breach that had shrapnel in every side of it. The heads up display blinking one red dot. Must be a glitch.There was nothing else left to do but leave the heap that brought me my victory behind. Dont worry ... I will be back for you. I grab some ammo and my Delta K9 assault rifle. Started heading due East. These strange creatures are all over the place. I might not make it this time. Im getting too old for this stuff. Its getting dark now and the noises are getting closer to me as the darkness ensue. This aint the way Im supposed to go. Over the ridge there is a treeline and what looks to be a vessel that made a path through it. Most likely damaged but a good place as any to camp for the night. As I get closer this thing is buried in the dirt. Vines grew throughout the entire chassis. I have never seen anything like it. Daylight cant come soon enough. Uncomfortable and unable to sleep. Well lets dig this baby out and see what it is. Half way through the night I was attacked by something that will become breakfast in the morning. He stuck his claw in my shoulder as I reached for my weapon. It dragged me 10 clicks in a matter of seconds. Bruised up I managed to pull my blade and hacked at it til it didnt move anymore. The blood was rank and sticky. It took a while to get back to where I was. Lucky I stayed up huh. Gotta keep digging to get this uncovered. Cant make heads nor tails of what this thing could be. Sunlight breaks through and almost done uncovering this metal object. These couplers came apart. Push in this last link. Finally done. It powered up by itself..... WHAT THE HECK!!!! The thing opens up .. I can hear it calling me. I will be back for you Krampus.
