As I finished up our Christmas tree I started to think.... of what all of this means to me. I have to say each ornament said the same thing....LOVE. Before Elf on a Shelf, I had Elf in our Tree (he is 20 years old this Christmas) I see an ornament from when we had very little money and hand made some hearts but then I see the ornaments that came along when I let the kids pick one out because I could afford to do that. I see a cross from my Priest from college who later became my boss and my friend in addition to my guide in faith. I see the ornaments with each childs name that were a gift from a very special woman and I see a special woman who had a child named Jesus. I see history of trips like NY and San Francisco. At the top I see our star which reminds me to follow and to believe. I have seen really pretty trees...like magazine worthy trees and I think they are beautiful. I just realized today however that our tree is filled with so much love I will never change it.
