As I reflect on my trip and my 1st World Sumo Championships where I went 1-1 beating Norway, but losing to Egypt, who lost to Japan to knock me out the tournament, I want to thank everyone who believed and supported me. This trip/competition was an experience of a lifetime that I plan on repeating again, at least the Sumo Championships part, not the country. I have only have a brief time in the sumo world which is filled with veterans from other countries, but as I continue to keep growing, this lesson taught me and confirmed to me, I am on the right path and contend at this level for more years. This is only the beginning. I will grow, my team will grow, USA sumo will grow.
