As I sit and have a quiet lunch with myself (sidenote: the wheat berry chili at Wheat Montana Bakery is excellent!) I am struck by the signs that Lewis and Darlene were with us today at the service. There was a spit of rain during the presentation of the flag to the family, Darlene liked to take walks in the rain. After the urns were interred, a golden eagle circled overhead (a bird that is signifcant for Lewis) catching the wind that blew from the direction of Livingston. In one of my pictures, there is a beam of light shining from the corner aimed at the flag of the motorcycle veterans - a group that Lewis thought did great things. You will never convince me it was all just coincidences. God gives us signs if we open ourselves to look for them. Today I looked, and was overwhelmed with the presence of family, both alive and now in a peaceful place.
