As Senate Panel Endorses New War for Israel, Kerry/Kohn’s Syrian Allies Openly Attack Christians SEPTEMBER 5, 2013 AT 7:35 AM At the same time that the Jewish Lobby AIPAC-controlled US Senate panel voted in favor of extending America’s war effort on behalf of Israel, the “rebels” they are going to support have just opened a renewed offensive against Christians in Syria. If any proof was wanted as to who controls America, ask yourself this question: what would the Senate have voted if somewhere, a Jewish town was being systematically shelled just because it was Jewish? Would the US Senate then vote to support, both physically and militarily, the attackers of this village? Would the world’s media ignore such an attack? The Senate committee vote was 10-7, with one senator voting “present.” The full Senate is expected to vote on the measure next week. Almost simultaneously with the vote, Jihadist “rebels” in Syria started shelling the Christian village of Maaloula (image), northeast of Damascus, only because they were Christians, and not because it was any military target. According to a report on Sky News, residents of the village have taken shelter in a convent as it was bombarded by al Qaeda-supporting “rebels.” The “rebels” stormed a hotel atop a mountain overlooking Maaloula to carry out the attack, said a nun, speaking on condition of anonymity from a convent in the village. “It’s a war. It has been going from 6am in the morning,” she said. Some 80 people took refuge in the convent, which houses 13 nuns and 27 orphans. The dawn assault was carried out by rebels from the al Qaeda-linked Jabhat al Nusra group, according to a government official and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a British-based opposition monitoring group. Situated some 40 miles northeast of Damascus, the mountain village is home to around 2,000 residents, some of whom still speak a version of Aramaic, the ancient language of biblical times believed to have been spoken by Jesus. Don’t expect John Kerry/Kohn to be upset over this though—after all, they are only Christians and the real reason for US intervention is not to “protect human rights” as he so blatantly lied, but rather to protect Israel’s interests. * Russian President Vladimir Putin became the first public figure to point out that US Secretary of State John Kerry/Kohn deliberately misled the Senate hearing by claiming that the “rebels” were actually moderates and not linked to al-Quaeda. “This was very unpleasant and surprising for me. We talk to them (the Americans) and we assume they are decent people, but he is lying and he knows that he is lying. This is sad,” Mr Putin was quoted as saying.
