As Thursday gets closer and my anxiety rises for Lexis appointment at Hasbro with her Neurologist, I want to ask every one to keep us in your thoughts and prayers. I wasnt going to say anything until after the appointment but the power of positive vibes and prayers from friends, and family are always greatly appreciated. Lexi had an MRI last year on her brain which indicated she suffered some minor Brain damage at birth. This infact has caused her a handful of issues and stuggles that she has endured over the past almost 3 years.Thankfully we have had her receiving services through Early Intervention since she was 9 months old to help her improve,function and excel to the best of her ability so far. PVL will NOT progress thank GOD as the damage is already done, but she will continue to need assistance and always work a little harder in all areas of trouble. She is a determined tough girl with an amazing support system so there is no doubt she will never let her symptoms stop her. Thursday we HOPEFULLY will get some more insight on the extent to the PVL (type of Brain damage she has) and if she will get the extended diagnosis we have questioned for over 2 years). We are praying her Doctor can finally stop giving us a run around so we can continue on the right path we already are on and the emotional roller coaster can stop. Prayers, vibes, thoughts to help us get the answer and diagnosis we are hoping for to help our Boonks continue to kick ass! Thank you!
