“As a result of what’s happening in Mosul they used the opportunity to get back to Iraq. Now they are bombarding some part of north of Iraq,” he said. The analyst added that the US presence in Iraq would undermine the democratic trend in the conflict-stricken country. “Their (the Americans) presence in Iraq is detrimental to democratic achievement if we want to achieve democratic rights in Iraq,” he said.
