As a young teen our son Kai told me about a sea turtle with a fish hook in its flipper who allowed him and friends to cut and pull it out on the beach. Kai, naturally, bonded with the wild creature and it trusted him. Some people (and species) excude recognizable compassion and mutual understanding, more than others. [No wonder Kai has chosen to be a first-response rescue professional in Hawaiis fire department . We are travelers in Planet Ocean (70% of earth surface being water) ... lets help one another out - interspecies collaboration is real, powerful, and evolutionarily TIMELY. what on earth are we waiting for? thank you cousin cetaceans for being so beautiful and intelligent and modelling peace in your social structures of pods -- may we become more like you ... before too much irreplaceable is gone.
