As dysfunctional as our youth today are, I choose to look at the dysfunction dead in the eye seeking resolve. Dr. Kwame Toure understood how important this is, despite the divisive measures put forth upon us... Few people have every reached the level of dedication to the total liberation African people and humanity than Dr. Kwame Toure of the All African People’s Revolutionary Party (June 29, 1941 – November 15, 1998). In 1994, Dr. Toure came to San Jose State University to speak to the students and community as he had done countless times before on this and other campuses throughout the United States. In this clip Dr. Toure explains how to redirect the misguided energy of the youth.
