As friends of HCCOA Meals on Wheels know, we were in the hole by close to $40,000 earlier in the year. We have really worked our tails off to make up the difference. We have had a great deal of help from many people who support meals on wheels; wonderful donors, Great Board of Directors, superb local Media, The Silver Spurs Riding club and other civic groups and local business. Thank you All!!! The end of our Fiscal Year is in two days. As of this morning, we were still about $10,000 short...I said a little prayer as I went to the P.O. box to get the mail. In the box, there were three envelops. Two were from our accountant and one looked like it might have a check in it...I got back to the office and opened the envelop....it contained a check for $10.000....from an anonymous donor!!! God moves in mysterious and wonderful ways..
