As i sit down today, i cant help but imagine the future of our county Nandi. This is a county i did not choose to be born in. It is a county where i have spent quite a considerable number of my years so far. It is a county that shaped my childhood and teen ideology. It is a county that prides itself of being home to the likes of Pamela Jelimo, Wilfred Bungei, Koitalel Arap Samoei, Jean Marie Seroney-the first kalenjin lawyer, Brian Kimutai-the top pupil in KCPE in Kenya. It therefore goes without saying that i am destined for greatness. You too tracing your origin from this great county are destined for greatness. My clarion call to you is to strive to come out your shell and realise the great opportunities that lie ahead of you. More often than not we focus more on our weaknesses and tribulations instead of the great talents and skills that are in us. I implore all of us not to allow challenges that come our way to put us down but to convert them to be the source of the drive to greatness. Go ahead people and lets realise what God destined us for, for he said in Jeremiah 29-11 that he has plans for prosperity for all of us. Happy sabbath you all and a great weekend ahead.
