As many of you are aware my beloved and adored father passed away this morning. Peacefully at home, in his favourite chair where he enjoyed sitting watching the birds and the world go by. The bond between a father and his daughter is like that between no other man and woman. He was the only man in my life that would be honest and true , a quiet gentle man who could make everything ok with a knowing look, his quick wit or cheeky smile. And I will always be his princess. Mum, Josh , Beth , Harry and myself would like to thank you all for the messages and text we have received these have and are helping enormously. Your love and support mean so much. We would like to thank St Johns Ambulance and the Guernsey police who attended for the compassion and grace at this difficult time. I know it is part of their job but their actions during the event impact on the experience of the family. Stuart thank you for being there especially for mum, we all appreciate it. Knowing I will never hear his laugh or see his smile again breaks my heart. His toothy grin, the light in his eyes that lit up his whole face when he saw us.
