As many of you know, Dean Henderson and his wife Charlotte lost their son Ford this weekend. Please be in prayer as they mourn their loss. OBITUARY Kevin Thedford “Ford” Henderson, 20, of Mt. Pleasant , SC passed away August 3, 2013. The relatives and friends of Ford Henderson are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at East Cooper Baptist Church, 361 Egypt Road in Mt. Pleasant, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service with a reception / fellowship. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens following the reception. ARRANGEMENTS BY J.HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Ford was born on August 9, 1992 in Mt. Pleasant, SC , son of Reverend Dean Kevin Henderson and Charla Ford Henderson. Ford was a member of East Cooper Baptist Church where he came to faith in Christ and was baptized in an ocean celebration. He was a 2010 graduate of Wando High School, a rising senior at Clemson University, and a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He was a member of the NRA and Ducks Unlimited. Ford was “lowcountry” through and through. He loved everything about the lowcountry – the marsh, the beach, the creeks, fishing, hunting, big trucks and boats... and anything that smelled like pluff mud. His many friends are a testament to his joy of life. He is survived by his parents, Rev. Dean Kevin Henderson and Charla Ford Henderson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, siblings Sarah Christopher and her husband Will, Margaret Ann Henderson, John Austin Henderson, Morgan Henderson, and Melissa Henderson, all of Mt. Pleasant. Ford is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. John B. Henderson of Auburn, Alabama, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Ford of Quincy, Fla. as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
