As some of you maybe aware unfortunately we lost a very dear friend to us Paul Smith who fought to the end to try and beat Cancer but unfortunately this horrid disease was just to strong for him, Over the new year we started and held some auctions and a fishathon to raise much needed money for Macmillans cancer support, so far including Gift Aid we have raised around £5000, This is a fantastic amount of money but we want more!!! So myself and 6 mates have decided to do the Three Peak Challenge, the aim is to climb the highest mountains in Scotland England and Wales and we aim to try and do this within 24hrs!! We intend to attempt this challenge at the end of May 2014, The people who know me will know that exercise and walking and Andi dont really go in the same sentence very often, more like sitting and eat, So I hope people will realise that myself and mates are putting ourselves out of comfort zone and are actually training hard for this event, I would be most appreciative if all my friends and family out there could please sponsor me to do this event, Cancer effects each and everyone of us in some way or form and the Nurses at Macmillans are some of the unsung heros who come to work each day to try and makes lives of cancer victims and their families just that little bit better, please guys £1 or £100 it all helps
