As the year comes to a close, I wanted to highlight a few things that really stood out for me. Number one by a long shot on the list of best things to happen to me in 2014 was meeting Scotty. I have been blessed in ways which I cannot even begin to explain. I now view the world in a very different way and meeting him helped me to become somebody that I can be proud of (most of the time) My very first memory of 2014 is travelling to Geelong with Jenna to see Masketta Fall play. It was such a wonderful day with great music and great company. The sunburn was definitely worth it! Not too much further on in the year I cried my eyes out in the front row of Mayday Parades set at Soundwave with the best sister I could ever ask to have. I later got to see The Living End play Uncle Harry for the first time in a very long time. 6th year going strong! In August, I got to travel to the United States of America for the second time. I was able to see such beautiful places. I got to visit ancient Mayan ruins and swim at Ik Kil, a cenote just out of Cancun. I sunbaked at Waikiki beach in Hawaii, attended Warped Tour in Colorado, gambled in Las Vegas and lets be honest, did absolutely nothing in Dallas, Texas. I had countless chicken burgers from the Dandenong Pavilion with many different people and you can be sure I will be having many more soon enough. And even though I was only able to spend minimal amounts of time with my family, I cherished every moment of it. Honorable mentions go to Bang, for always getting me a little bit too drunk. Naruto, for teaching me a lot of valuable life lessons. Playsuits and lipstick for making me look like slightly less of an ogre. Comedy shows for making me laugh until my sides hurt and The Used, for somehow making me swallow my tongue bar in the mosh. Thank you to everybody who played a part in my life this year, if youre tagged, it means you gave me something to remember! ♥
