As the year is soon coming to and end and I am getting ready to board my flight to Japan for another season of snowy work, I cant help but reflect on the past years events. Some years ago I made a promise to myself that I would take advantage of the little time I had on this planet and make every year better than the previous. The past year has brought sadness of losing some of my really good friends, happiness of living in utter freedom, and excitement for knowing the greatest people in the world who continuously inspire me with their antics, intelligence, and creativity. Though sometimes the lessons are hard, they are always for better. Everything can be taken as a positive if we look at it through the right lens. Some of the cultures I have come across this year have humbled me indefinitely with their outlook on life and happiness without the necessity of excess. Im forever grateful for all my friends that shared adventures and took a chance with me, for better or worse, on this crazy roller coaster of a life. Looking forward to more adventures and a perpetual enjoyment of life.
