As we all know, its being said that the aftermath of these kind of floods is more disastrous and harms more people than the floods itself. I was thinking of the different possibilities we can raise awareness about it. Inform people. Re-inform them. It is very important. Now, here is one small idea: Medicine people in Kashmir or outside Kashmir can write small one-liner-preventives which can then be passed via SMSs to people. Even others can write. For example one such SMS can be: Do you make sure you wash your hands regularly? #KashmirFloods #PleasePassOn We have to be precise and meaningful in order for the people to read and pass on to others. We can also inform people about forwarding these SMSs to their friends and relatives here on Facebook. Please think of all such one-liners and post them here or on your walls and encourage people to forward them to others via SMSs/Facebook/Whatsapp messages. I am aware that the communication has not been completely restored in Kashmir yet but the work is one and with each passing day, hopefully it will get better. It is a long way. Lets call it SEND SMS MOVEMENT. Also, please share if you have any other even better ideas. What do you say?
