As you all may have noticed, I quit posting about complaints about being sick some time ago. And I only post about the times when I am feeling great, but that is not to say that I dont still have really awful days. Being healthier has required a complete lifestyle change, I cant eat gluten, dairy, soy and meat. I had to eliminate harsh chemicals in the house in not only household cleaners but laundry detergents and shampoo, conditioner and soaps. I have to do yoga for at least an hour daily or the muscles in my body tense up and I can hardly walk, yoga also helps with the anxiety I deal with caused by my thyroid. My gut issues are mostly under control now thanks to Deltra for introducing me to the magic of probiotics and for that Im forever thankful!! Im so happy that Im getting better but there are still some days I feel pretty awful mostly because its all a delicate balancing act and the slightest thing can send it all crashing down on me. That being said, Im a complete idiot and goofed up on my diet last week during spring break on more than one occasion. I didnt do yoga as often as I should have and my muscles tensed up and it hurt to walk for a few days. Also admist the chaos my probiotics went missing so I didnt take those for a few days. AND there was at least one day I forgot to take my thyroid meds last week because I was so busy. No wonder I feel like garbage right now and sadly Im to blame! But the good news is that I know that if I get back on track, by next week I should be 100% back to normal! I definitely need to work on self control when around food, and I need to be more disciplined about my yoga! And I just want to note that Im beyond thankful that my husband David is such a loving and supportive husband and he has helped me through this journey with all of its ups and downs. Im truly a lucky woman to be his wife!
