Assalamu Alaikum Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind - TopicsExpress

Assalamu Alaikum Yet no faith will the greater part of mankind have, however ardently you do desire it. And no reward do you ask of them for this: it is no less than a Message for all creatures. And how many Signs in the heavens and the earth do they pass by? Yet they turn (their faces) away from them! And most of them believe not in Allah without associating (others as partners) with Him! The Holy Quran, Surah Yusuf (Joseph), 12:103-106 Muhajir or Ansaar The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Even if (all) of mankind were to travel in a valley and the Ansaar were to travel in another valley, I would travel in the valley of the Ansaar.” [Ahmad] The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said this after the conquest of Makkah. Despite loving it intensely and having lived there his whole life he did not choose to return to Makkah once he got the chance, but went back with the Ansaar to Madina. With the Ansaar in Madina is where he passed away. Who were the Ansaar? They were the people who took in the Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) not just to live among them, but as their leader. They swore to protect him and Islam like they protected their own families; even at the cost of their children dying and their wives getting widowed and their wealth getting used up. They lived true to their promise and kept the banner of Islam high, participating in 76 expeditions in 10 years to defend Islam and the Muslims and establish Allah’s Hukm (commands and laws) on His land. Every age has its Ansaar and its Muhajireen. The Ansaar are those who support those who emigrate in Allah’s Path. They are themselves on Allah’s Deen and on top of that they risk war with the Kuffar and the Munafiqeen because of the shelter they provide true Muslims and Islam. The Muhajireen are those who are forced out of their own land because they demand Islam, who emigrate to protect and practice their Islam. A true Muslim is either a Muhajir or an Ansaar.
