Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu! Subhanim Allah Sultanim Allah Nabim Muhammad Alayhis Salam Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahiim Truly Allah(swt) guides whom He wants to be guided and He is with those who are patient; one who does good deeds would benefit from it and one who does bad deeds, truly it would only be his/her loss What is Bidah (Innovation)? Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem. Bidah is to practise something in Islam with religious significance which was not practised by Prophet alayhis salatu was salam, his companions or his successors. But the Bidah Wahhabi Shaitans referring is those deeds which Prophet (alayhis salatu was salam) did not do in his life time. Prophet alayhis salatu was salam said: “Whoever initiates a good practice (sunnah hasanah) in Islam and is emulated by others in doing so will get the reward of it and the reward of all those who act upon it without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And whosoever initiates an evil practice (sunnah sayyi’ah) in Islam and is emulated by others will bear the sin of it and the sin of all those who act on it without their burden being diminished in the least. ” [Sahîh Muslim: (1017)] According to the above Hadith, Mawlid Nabi is not a bad bidah which goes againt Sunnah! Because those things comprised in Mawlid Nabi celebration is directly Sunnah of Prophet and Companions (May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be up on Prophet his family and his companions) For example: 1- Reciting Salawat Nabi and Takbeer is a Sunnah, Sahaba and Ansar did this in Madinah during Hijar and during Makkah Conquest. 2- Distributing Food and Supplies on this day is Sunnah (Comes under Sadaqa, Gift-Hadya) 3- Making Hutuba(Sermons) during Mawlid Nabi is also Sunnah. 4- Birth of Prophet is a Sunnah of Prophet alaiiswalathu wa salam, We have sent You not, But as a Mercy to the whole world, and rejoice in the Mercy of Allah-Quran verses, is also a Sunnah. We must know what Prophet alayhis salatu was salam said. On the authority of Abu Najeeh al-Irbaad ibn Saariyah (radiAllaahu anhu) who said : The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) gave us a sermon by which our hearts were filled with fear and tears came to our eyes. So we said : O Messenger of Allaah ! It is as though this is a farewell sermon, so counsel us. He said : I counsel you to have taqwaa (fear) of Allaah, and to listen and obey [your leader], even if a slave were to become your Ameer. Verily he among you who lives long will see great controversy, so you must keep to my Sunnah and to the Sunnah of the Khulafaa ar-Raashideen (the Rightly Guided Caliphs), those who guide to the right way. Cling to it stubbornly [literally: with your molar teeth]. Beware of newly invented matters [in the religion], for verily every bidah (innovation) is misguidance. It was related by Abu Dawood (4607) and at-Tirmidi (2676), who said that it was a good and sound Hadeeth. So we must not only follow the Prophet, but also follow the rightly guided successors. Now the question arise again.Who are the rightly guided successors? Sahih Al Bukhari, Book 89,Ahkam Narrated Abu Huraira(Radiyallahu Anhu): Prophet alayhis salatu was salam said, Whoever obeys me, obeys Allah, and whoever disobeys me, disobeys Allah, and whoever obeys the ruler I appoint, obeys me, and whoever disobeys him, disobeys me. More than a 1000 year Major body of Muslims and their Khalifas (Caliphate-Abbasids,Ottomans etc) celebrating Mawlid Nabi. Stick to the main group of Muslims and their Imam So people who do not celebrate Mawlid Nabi and Do not often make Salawat up on Prophet and his family, will come under the category of people who stand in the gate of hell, according to this hadith: Sahih Muslim Book 020, Hadith Number 4553. How can you now reject the True scholars and Awliya Allah!? The proofs are but endless! If you still don’t believe then ponder upon the verse “Khatamallahu ala qulubihim wa ala sam’ihim wa la absarihim ghishawatun walahum azabun azim” If you still don’t believe then ponder upon the verse “Man yahdillahu fahuwal muhtadi wa man udlil fa-uwlaa ika humul khasirin” If you still don’t believe then ponder upon the verses “Innaa jaalnaa feee anaaqihim aghlaalan fahiya ilal azqaani fahum muqmahoon (8)Wa jaalnaa mim baini aydeehim saddanw-wa min khalfihim saddan fa aghshay naahum fahum laa yubsiroon (9)” I am not a scholar but all of these words are from the True Scholars and Awliya Allah, If you have questions then go to them If you still don’t believe then keep your beliefs to yourselves, stop spreading hatred by saying bid’ah and shirk! We The Ahlus Sunnah Wa Jamaah are the people who follow the path of those who turned to Allah(swt) with love. Wa Min Allahi Tawfiq wal Hidaya
