Assembler - R234 Job Description/General Assembler/Machine operator will assemble components and products and operate machinery as necessary to fulfill production needs. Must be able to lay-out, position, and secures parts and assemblies according to specifications. Must also be able to operate hand tools in a safe manner and also larger equipment as trained and needed. Summary of essential job functions • Must be able to read fabrication and assembly drawings. • Must be able to learn from and take direction from supervisor. • Must be able to stand for up to 3 hours at a time and 7 hours per shift. • Must be able to operate hand tools and machinery effectively and safely. • Must be able to grip and manipulate small parts. • Must be able to calculate numbers accurately and quickly. • Must have a basic knowledge of mathematics and be able to apply it. • Must be able to measure accurately using a tape measure or other measuring device. • Must be able to work safely in an industrial environment. • Must be able to lift 75lbs. • Must be able to communicate effectively. • Must be able to work with limited supervision. • High School Diploma Abilities required Effective communicator, High level of interpersonal skills, Ability to work in a team environment, Ability to problem solve. Must be able to work 40 hours per week. 6am – 3pm Monday to Friday Candidate must provide their own steel toed boots. Must pass a Drug and Background Check
