The Associate Engineer Role To build your skills and ensure your success, CDW’s ACE Training Program offers these key experiences: • Work with Experts on Real Projects CDW has industry thought leaders and consultants who have years of experience, you will have the opportunity to shadow and work side-by-side with them on real customer projects. The ACE Program does this by building your skills at the right time and through the right medium. We have combined individual study, team study, and certification attainment with real customer projects. This approach allows you to learn the theory and then personally discover how that theory translates to the real world. • Acquire a Holistic Perspective Our Field Services support customers from coast-to-coast, exposing us to best practices across industries, technologies, and geographies. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree required or an equivalent experience Experience configuring or supporting some or all of the following; switch, routers, firewalls, wireless Travel expected, varies by location, up to 50% Preferred Qualifications BA/BS including concentration in one of the following; Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline) Experience in planning, deployment and operational support of advanced technologies and applications 1-3 years network administration experience Professional experience to include customer service, requirements gathering, task execution, problem solving, sound judgment around crisis escalation.
