At 2:01 pm Doppler Radar is starting to show organized showers develop from China Grove to Harrisburg to Mooresville, Lincolnton, and Shelby, These showers are traveling NW and will start to move into the area this afternoon. With the storm motion the Blue Ridge will allow more lift in the showers and storms, and we should see some moderate to maybe heavy rain over Caldwell, Burke and McDowell Counties this afternoon and evening. Any sun we see will only aid in the efforts of storms and showers forming.
