At Costco earlier and The Hubs comes up to me, puts his arm around - TopicsExpress

At Costco earlier and The Hubs comes up to me, puts his arm around my waist, snugs me in and says youre kinda growing on me. Good thing since we will be celebrating 15 years of marriage this year. He is no certainly no wordsmith and no one could call him poetic and keep a straight face but he manages to find ways to make his point and feelings perfectly clear to me. Im not worthy but I am SO THANKFUL. Ive learned in all my nearly 42 years of wisdom (HEY! Ive been married twice for a sum of nearly 24 years to two completely different types of men, so I feel somewhat qualified) that you have to be willing to hear what they are saying in their voice and their way. Not in yours or what you think they should say. If The Hubs ever became one of those gross, sapping, romantic, Hallmark type guys I would probably puke. I love his crassness and the ways he shows me how much he love us. Heard our (grown) daughter will be moving back home in March. He doesnt even bat an eye. He will rearrange his entire life for her. Even though she is annoying and drives us insane. She is beautiful and she is his one and only daughter. He loves her and he will put every single thing he has and every single thing he wants, aside for our kids. He will give them every penny and every ounce of whatever he has within him. He isnt their bio-dad but it seems he didnt get that memo. I pity the fool that tries to tell him otherwise. Im smitten....still smitten.....I might also be madly in love. Just a little bit....
