At Global Village we have two ways to give back this season: this Saturday we are teaming up with other small businesses in the Heights, donating 10% of our sales to local hurricane relief. Then, on Saturday, 12/14, we are supporting our friends from Haiti Mission Connection. Haiti Mission Connection, Inc., a Peoria not-for-profit, seeks to help the people of the village of Bodarie by helping to provide medical care at a year-round clinic staffed by a Haitian nurse, household water purification systems, and assistance for the school operated by the parish of St. Benoit. We are donating 10% of our sales that day to the Haiti Mission Connection. The 14th is the Chocolate Walk in the Heights; we are going to have treats! So come on in, shop, and do good: help us help Haiti Mission Connection.
