At SB Sports Injury & Physiotherapy Clinic we offer a private neurological rehabilitation and general mobility problems service. Our Rehabilitation Physiotherapist has over 15 years experience working in the field of rehabilitation treating conditions such as Stroke, Head Injury, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease as well as general mobilitly problems. Appointments are available at the clinic or your own home. A comprehensive assessment will be completed, where together we will establish your main mobility problems and provide a treatment programme including hands on treatment, balance and walking re-education, exercise programmes and problem solving advice. With the aim of improving confidence with mobility reducing falls risk, maximising independence and improving functional ability. Our rehabilitation physiotherapist Liz is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and is a State Registered Physiotherapist. She is also trained in the Bobath concept, a physiotherapy technique aimed at utilising normal movement patterns to facilitate movement and functional ability. Difficulties getting up/down stairs, in/out of the chair or risk of falls could all be helped with advice and treatment.
