At last mondays meeting of Wicklow County Council,councillors were informed that a request had been received from Irish Water for the names and address of all tenants of the local authority.Sinn Fein opposed this request. I expressed my horror that such a request should be sent to the Council and that we do not cooperate with such a request. John Brady proposed a special meeting of the council to discuss the whole issue of Water Charges.This meeting will go ahead at 2.00pm next monday in Council Buildings Wicklow.
