At the December 16, 2014 Board meeting, Tamara Alaniz took the oath of office as a Director to the Apple Valley Fire Protection District Board. Jay Jeffs and Bob Tinsley also took the oath as they have both been re-elected to the Board. Please join the Apple Valley Fire District family in welcoming Director Tamara Alaniz to the Board of Directors and extending our congratulations to Jay Jeffs and Bob Tinsley on their re-election to the Board. We also say farewell and heartfelt thanks to Vice President Lars Hanson. Fire Chief Hultquist presented Lars with a proclamation for his service on the Apple Valley Fire District’s Board of Directors. Chief Hultquist noted that the proclamation reads that Lars was “instrumental in implementing change and fiscal responsibility which will have the effect of dramatically improving the services provided to the Town of Apple Valley thereby saving lives and property”. Lars was also presented a leather helmet by the Apple Valley PFA thanking him for his service to the Fire District.
