At the age of 43 I have finally come to the realisation that I am not (as previously believed) a punk person; I am a dark ambient person. Which, honestly, is a bit of a bummer. As any decent composer will be able to tell you, ambient is just crap. Its so easy to make that anyone could do it (even me - and I have), and its basically just the same over and over and over. But then, so I am, pretty much the same. As myself. And what can I do? Many years ago, I remember, I used to frequent a second hand bookshop in Aarhus and I became friends with the woman who ran it. One day she told me, I recall the first day you came into the shop. You came in through the door, and it was like everything went darker. Dark ambient for sure. youtu.be/7QOAlT7OUsI
