At the end of June of this year, shortly after the kidnapping of the three settler youths and just as everything was blowing up in Netanyahus orchestrated cacophony of evil and destruction, Haneen Zoabi, vilified by the Israeli public perhaps more than any other public figure, gave a largely ignored but extremely revealing and informative interview in Hebrew to the electronic civil newspaper called Sicha Mekomit. I have translated this interview into English as I think it provides a very lucid picture of Zoabis doctrines and ideology, in contrast to the poisonous distortions that have been represented in the mainstream media. Although, I am not a Palestinian but a Jew presently living in Israel, I feel it necessary to add that I agree and identify with almost everything that Zoabi says, and do so, like her, not because Im Jewish and not because she is Palestinian, but because it is just to do so. For justices sake, please share this post to friends and to the public in general and let Zoabi and her views on Palestinian consciousness receive a fair hearing in the world.
