Attn everyone attending the Parents Left Behind, Inc. Walking With Memories: Today I received a phone call regarding our event that is being held at the Shepherdsville City Park. There was apparently an issue where the park was triple booked for events that day. Therefore, we are revamping the style of our walk. We will STILL be having it. The changes are we will combining it with "The Pumpkin Fest". This will mean that it will begin at 11am. There will be vendors, food, a pumpkin patch for the kids and many other kid friendly games. Parents Left Behind, Inc will be included and receive a portion of the proceeds. At 3pm the Pumpkin Fest will be ending and Parents Left Behind, Inc. will begin the actual walk (therefore it will be more personal). We would like for you to share in the before festivities but if you only come for the walk, please arrive a little early because we will promptly start at 3pm. When everyone has finished walking we will begin the memorial ceremony. Everyones signs will be displayed the entire time. Everyone will need to enter the park on the HWY 44 side (Frank E Simon Park). We are sorry for any inconveinience that this may have caused. We hope that you will all join us in remembering all those gone too soon. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.
