Autumn Is Stirring Red and yellow cascading leaves Hang idly amongst the limbs of trees, Winds scatter an abundance of dancing leaves. They sail along the breeze and surf upon the ground, Overlapping each other Creating a colorful kaleidoscope shroud. The trees will soon be bare. Returning those of ripened age, Back to the earth from which they came, Autumn blushes the horizon with its picturesque foliage. Autumn sidewalks makes the canopy glow, Like beautiful, brilliant, glass windows. The seasonal beauty scenes that stir the senses, As the leaves of the trees are changing To vibrant colors, with each passing day, Bright orange, red, brown, and rust, Hastening the arrival of falling leaves, As the cool winds give each leaf a thrust. Vibrant colors appear with each passing day, As sunny skies lose their intensity, and skies become more gray. Traffic-light colors of Autumn are stirring all around, Forming a natural blanket on the earths precious ground. A gradual change is creeping upon us quietly as we sleep, Autumns presence is stirring right beneath our feet! There is something about Autumn That brings out such earthiness, Multi-colors of a rare beautifulness, Another sign that lustrously shows, That we are truly blessed!
