**Available for Adoption!** Though he came in as a “stray”, its pretty clear that this 13 year old BLIND boy could not have wandered too far from home. Can you imagine how scared Scooby must feel sitting in that tiny cage at Manhattan ACC, hearing barking dogs all around him, hearing voices he doesn’t know, wondering if he’ll ever come out of that cage. Obese and not knowing his surroundings, Scooby stumbles a bit when he walks around. ACC has decided that since his humans never came, nobody else would want him and they’ve put Scooby on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, Scooby needs to find a very special person who will help him stop being so scared and who will give him the safe, comfortable home he so deserves. He will need to see a good vet to determine how much vision he has; he’ll need to carefully lose some of that weight that makes him wobble when he walks; he’ll need to live with folks who don’t move the furniture around all the time and he needs that special human who will gladly accept all the doggie kisses he wants to give. If that’s you, then start working on fostering or adopting Scooby. But it has to be now.
