Businesses and residents are preparing for the violence that is anticipated when the Grand Jury returns its verdict in the Michael Brown shooting. Leaks have indicated that as many as a dozen local residents have testified of events happening exactly as the officer reported, which would result in no indictment against him. The protesters have been planning their strategies, as the Grand Jury decision is expected any day now. Social media has been on fire with rhetoric from protest groups, with one offering a reward for the officer’s whereabouts and stating they are stocking up on ammo. Local gun dealers have reported as much as a 700% increase in sales recently, many of which are coming from first-time gun purchasers. Even the local Walmart has sold out of bullets. Most have revealed a common theme coming from customers-they are afraid of what protesters, vandals, and looters may do.
