BASTARD GRAVE Signs With Pulverised Records! It is with our most immense pleasure that we welcome Swedens freshest corpse on the block BASTARD GRAVE! With this abhorrent being merely formed in 2012, BASTARD GRAVE almost immediately created a subterranean tremble that, unbeknownst to many unsuspecting tortured souls, shook the Death Metal community in the embodiment of a three-track demo entitled Unmarked Grave released in the Fall of 2014 under their belt. BASTARD GRAVE is currently penning new material for the groups debut record, which sees the band continuing in the same path and spirit of the ancient Swedish Death Metal style. Pulverised Records A&R Manager Calvin Chiang remarked on the new signing: To have BASTARD GRAVE join the Pulverised roster was certainly an instant validation; the bands style of no-frills Swedish Death Metal was simply something we cannot ignore, and to have that ever-so-slightly Autopsy influence creeping in their music was definitely hitting our raw nerves in the right places! We are also convinced that the upcoming full-length record will be an even more worthy predecessor than theUnmarked Grave demo, so look out for it soon in 2015 for more graves shall be exhumed. BASTARD GRAVE guitar-player Andreas Hjorth spoke about the signing, the new record and the future of the band: We were thrilled when Pulverised approached us about releasing a record. With roots in Punk and Hardcore music, signing to Pulverised Records feels like a natural step forward for us as a band. What it means exactly, we do not yet know but we have great respect for the label and being part of the Pulverised roster is very honoring. After all the time spent in the rehearsal room, we are ready to record an album of pure Death Metal. The way we like it with no fuss, just straightforward brutal Death Metal, done the Swedish way.
