BATAVIA Clinton street will be closed for several hours after early morning accident A pickup truck went off the road near 60 Clinton street about 2:00a.m. this morning. The truck drove through a pole, sheering it at the base, and then went through several front yards before stopping. Power lines remained attached to the top part of the pole and were low hanging. National Grid is on scene and will have to replace the the pole. Clinton street will remain closed to traffic between East avenue and Grandview Terrace for 2-3 hours at least. The driver and sole occupant was transported to UMMC with minor injuries.
