.•♥.•♥.•♥ BENNY~THE HUNKA HUNKA BURNIN ♥ℒℴνℯ.•♥.•♥.•♥ A volunteer writes: Beautiful Benny is a real hunk, 78 pounds of pure smooshable brindle goodness just waiting for the right big dog person to meet him and fall in love. Unfortunately his former owner did not value Benny for the special guy he is, routinely leaving him alone for long periods of time and tying him up outside the building to do his business instead of taking him for walks. Thats no life for any dog, let alone a social boy who loves being with people and Im glad hes been given a second chance at happiness. Were told Benny is friendly to strangers (oh yes!) and children and that when a cat was brought into the house he pushed it around with his nose but showed no aggression. I can confirm he knows his commands for sit and stay, waiting patiently for me to toss him a treat or throw the ball, and that he just loves to be cuddled and fussed over. Watching Benny happily munching on a tennis ball has to be one of the more satisfying sights in life and as we sit together in quiet companionship while he chews and I rub his side, Id say were both feeling pretty darn contented. Benny comes with a whole lot of big dog love but also big dog responsibilities. He doesnt care for other dogs so would need to be the only one in his new home and with his size and strength hell need an active, experienced owner who understands how to handle him correctly when out and about in the world. Benny is simply magnificent, a well-behaved, affectionate and loyal pet that anyone would be proud to call their own. If you have what it takes to be that special human Benny has already waited too long to find then dont wait, hes already neutered and ready to go home with you today! A staff writes: I love Benny! Benny is a beautiful, strong boy that loves a brisk walk in the park. Benny appears house trained and couldnt wait to find the first tree on the street to take care of business. Benny waited at the stop light with me, loving the back, belly, and head rubs, along with some nice back scratches. Benny is smart and fit and is looking for an owner that shares his love of brisk walks and belly rubs.
