BH As the hours are passing by, soon, they will be holding the funeral for Joan Rivers. I never paid attention to her, until she got my full attention a few weeks ago, when she supported, vociferously, for the whole world to hear, her allegiance to the cause of Israel. She said: They attacked Israel. And, more. Then, I thought, I should try to meet her when I am in New York, after all, she lived around the block from my orthodox synagogues in Manhattan, both, Fifth Avenue Synagogue and the sephardic Edmond J. Safra Synagogue, are a block away of each other, a few steps from Fifth Avenue, between 62nd and 63rd streets. But, there was no more time left. It was time for her to leave. And what a wonderful departure, because she will be remembered and loved by many of us for her last major contribution. Below, you will find her instructions for her funeral, that she reportedly left for her only child, Melissa. Among those, are that Bobby Vinton sing Mr. Lonely at her funeral. So, as a thank you, Joan Rivers, for standing up for our Land, here it is. And, may G d look at you with benevolence. Baruch Dayan HaEmet.
