BJP likely to open talks with PDP for Govt. formation: Srinagar, December 24: As the core BJP team is arriving in Kashmir valley for final deliberations on government formation and for holding back channel talks with PDP. Sources said that national secretary BJP Ram Madav is also arriving in valley to initiate talks with the parties including PDP leadership for the making of the new government in Jammu and Kashmir. People privy to this development told KNS on the condition of anonymity that Common Minimum Program (CMP) will discussed by the two parties so that final decision of the leadership is brought to fore. The main issues that would be deliberated at present include the issue of the rotational chief minister that probably could be three years for Kashmir and three years for Jammu. Also the strategy over BJP’s demand of Article 370 debate and PDP’s self rule agenda are being discussed. Meanwhile, sources said both the parties are likely to focus primly on developmental agenda and particularly over relief and rehabilitation work of the flood ravaged regions of the state. The final decision over the issue is expected to come out in near future as BJP decided to depute a two- member team led by senior leader Arun Jaitley to hold talks with the partys newly-elected MLAs in Jammu and Kashmir on possibility of forming government besides supervising election of their leader in the Assembly. Jaitley and party national secretary Arun Singh, who will go as Observers, will hold a meeting of the BJP Legislature Party that will elect its leader in Jammu and Kashmir, Health Minister and party general secretary J P Nadda told reporters.
