BLUES & HILLS: This evening, while returning from a meeting, at Duroc metro, I saw a blind man being led by his dog. Hes holding onto the leash and the gentle dog walks slowly through the crowd, leading him out through the exit of the metro. Im amazed, I turn to head home, another man appears all of a sudden with a walking stick, beating hard on the floor and clad in his winter-suit, he makes some staggering hectic movements and people watch in amazement as he finds his way to the train platform. Hes BLIND. I follow him and miss my route back home. I had to find a way to get home and on getting to St. Lazare, another blind couple: the woman is holding the mans left arm and they are walking towards the exit of the metro. So, I ask myself: does our present situation stop us from doing what we are supposed to do?
